Using one of the jobs you have just located produce a CV and cover letter to apply for that job. Remember to ensure that spelling and grammar are correct.

Here you will search for a range of jobs. The powerpoint below addresses the areas of job hunting studied in class. You should have seven jobs from the internet printed out for the seven job areas discussed.

4. Design an Advert

You now need to design a print advert using a variety of images for a specific audience thinking about all the things you have learnt from your analysis. Firstly complete the following proposal.

Now search the internet for the images you are going to use.

IMPORTANT:
Before starting your design you need to insert the images in to a word document or print them to show how you have structured your advert.

You can now design you advert. Remember to think about how text can anchor image meaning.

Finally you need to submit an anlysis - either written or in spider diagram form - to show how you have targeted your specific audience.

To submit:

1) Propsal Form
2) Word document / printed images you are using
3) Finished Advert
4) Analysis of how you have targeted you audience in your advert

3. Invoice and Tax

You need to complete an invoice as if you were self employed. TEMPLATE

Tax - I would like you to work out how much tax you would need to put aside from your invoice in tersm of class 2 and class 4 contributions.

TASK - Choose a print advert and write down who the audience is in detail and what in the advert is tellin you this information. Think about age, gender, class, education, self, location, family, nation, ethnicity, religion, region, political allegiance and urban verses rural settings.
